After missing qualifying and the heat races due to mechanical difficulties Alex started the 75 lap main event at the rear of the field in his borrowed number 7 car. With a very cool charge to the front Alex made the pass for second with 2 laps remaining. At the checkered flag Alex finishes second to John Webb. September 30th USLMA 100 laps Qualified 21st of 43 Lap 75 oil spill in front of the 61 car ended the night in the turn one wall. Finished 23rd
September 16th USLMA 75 laps Qualified 12th of 24 Debris caused flat dropped from 7th to 23rd with 22 to go Battled to Tenth place finish!!
August 19th USLMA 75 laps Qualified 6th of 20 With tire problems finished 9th in a rain shortened main event
August 5 Sandia Late Models Great Race!! Finished 2nd -needed 2 more laps.

June 24 Sandia - Alex was taken out early -- Severe damage to the right front of the 61 car ended the evening.
June 10 Sandia - Alex led 12 laps before being caught up in an accident -- DNF
May 20th USLMA 75 laps Due to this being his first USLMA start Alex was asked to start in the back of the field. 20 cars began the evening and when the 75 lap Main event was complete Alex had worked his way to a TOP TEN finish. May 6th First race
On May 6th Alex lead every lap of his heat race to take his first checkered flag in his #61 Late Model.
